Attention: This VPN Client supports only the outdated IKEv1 variant of IPSec. For security reasons, it is not recommended to use this Protocol or this App if your VPN Server supports a more recent VPN protocol such as WireGuard or IKEv2 based IPSec. Please take this warning into consideration.

This is a 10-day limited trial version of "VpnCilla," which is also available on the market. Prior to purchasing the Full Version of "VpnCilla," we suggest trying out the free "VpnCilla (Trial)." VpnCilla serves as a VPN Client for VPN Servers such as FritzBox, Cisco PIX/ASA, Fortigate, or other VPN Servers with IPSec Pre-shared Keying (Xauth IKE/PSK).

Advanced Settings include:

• Possibility to specify WiFi Blacklists/Whitelists to explicitly deny/allow VPN on specific WiFi ESSDs
• Possibility to specify Manual Routes and/or DNS Server and more

Restrictions:

• Mention the security risk if passwords are stored in the profile in case your device is hacked or stolen
• VpnCilla runs only if the TUN driver (tun.ko) and Android 4 VPN routing infrastructure are included in the firmware. Please verify with "VpnCilla (Trial)" first as not all device manufacturers have included it yet
• Only IKE/PSK Xauth authentication is supported (no PPTP, no L2TP, no Hybrid RSA, no SSL, no Cisco AnyConnect)
• Supports IPv4 only (no IPv6)
• Supports WLAN/WIFI and Mobile Data up to 3g. VpnCilla may be unstable over 4g (LTE) on some devices/mobile providers
• Active Screenfilter apps such as Twilight or Lux might prevent selecting the security dialog checkbox
• VpnCilla cannot handle phase 1 rekeying initiated by the VPN server. This may lead to a session stall for 2-3 minutes until VpnCilla initiates a reconnect, depending on the server configuration (1hr for Fritzbox and 8hrs for Cisco VPN servers by default)
